Intrigued by the body in all its forms, Martsy uses acrylic and digital art searching for the quiet spaces where contradiction lives. Where fragility accentuates beauty, where vulnerability and resilience coexist, where exposure becomes power and imperfection reveals natural unique radiance.

Each piece is to encourage a sense of deep connection, a silent exploration between the viewer and the painting or perhaps a memory of what once was. The tension between what we hide and what we unveil can be depicted through the use of colour and texture, luring ones imagination to the what if’s. The possibilities and the limitations that are set within our systems to fulfill acceptance, belonging and security. But do they really?
